Kriti Rajput serves as senior corporate counsel at AppDynamics, where she primarily supports global commercial transactions and provides product and privacy counseling for internal stakeholders. The attorney has also managed the legal intern/extern program and as well as supervised outside counsel on tech transactions.
One of Rajput’s career highlights is developing an API data feed revenue stream for MLSListings Inc., a premier multiple listing service (MLS) for real estate listings in Northern California. This data feed increased revenue for the company by 15 percent the year of the product launch, while also making it easier for developers to access and display MLS data quickly.
Senior Corporate Counsel
As an Indian American woman, the lawyer says she is constantly working to overcome stereotypes. “I have had to learn to advocate for myself, identify allies within my network, and develop confidence to negotiate my compensation,” she says. “Some of my mentors have stuck with me for over a decade coaching me through difficult conversations and making work transitions.”
The senior corporate counsel is passionate about advocating for pay equity, nontraditional legal paths, allyship for underrepresented families, mentoring law students, and supporting family planning. As the director-at-large for the Asian American Bar Association of the Greater Bay Area, Rajput has helped others (as well as herself) advocate for pay transparency and pay equity.
Rajput is also on the organizing committee of the Law in Technology Diversity Collaborative and has been part of the Tech Edge JD mentorship program at Santa Clara Law School. “It brings me significant joy to see my mentees, who are all incredibly talented individuals, be happy and successful in their careers and internships,” she says.
