Nominations & Qualifications Process

Modern Counsel accepted nominations from July 10 to September 8, 2023. To be eligible for consideration, nominees must have a JD (or international equivalent), be in-house legal professionals, diverse and/or strong allies to underrepresented communities, and age 35 or younger at the time of publication on January 31, 2024. Nominations were evaluated by a selection committee made up of legal leaders and peers from varying industries and companies.

The 35 Under 35 categories include technology, finance, energy, consumer goods, healthcare, consulting, sports, public safety, manufacturing, and logistics.
