Kaitlyn Whiteside acts as associate vice president and senior labor and employment counsel at Saks Fifth Avenue. The highly motivated, creative, and experienced attorney has served in-house since 2019. She previously practiced as an associate at Seyfarth Shaw where she defended employers in traditional labor relations matters in federal and state court. She also served as an associate at Littler Mendelson and Sutherland Asbill & Brennan.
During her time in private practice, Whiteside amassed experience as first-chair in negotiating collective bargaining agreements as well as second-chair experience in pre-election hearings and election objection hearings. She also gained valuable experience in labor arbitration
While at University of Virginia School of Law, she was part of the Virginia Journal of Law and Politics.
